Job Summary:

The ideal engineer is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative team charged with exploring a dynamic domain. You will work in a multi-functional team that is developing innovative computer vision/machine learning systems and advanced visualization applications. As a framework engineer on our team, you will have many responsibilities relating to designing and implementing the architecture and framework of our developer facing API. You will also work closely with internal clients to ensure we’re fulfilling their requirements as well as create prototype applications throughout the release process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent Unity development skills
  • Experience profiling and optimizing applications
  • Experience in shipping games or simulations in 3D
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communicate effectively, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical multi-functional team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years work experience required
  • A strong sense of responsibility and an obsession with quality and details
  • VR/AR headset development experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with 3D rendering is a plus
  • Computer Vision/Machine Learning knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Character animations
  • Experience with AI systems

Education & Experience

Job Summary:

Overmatch is looking for people to play key roles by building amazing tools and pipelines or writing beautiful shaders for our suite of innovative AR / VR / XR applications. As a member of this team, you’ll be building innovative solutions with regards to tools and pipeline development or bringing high fidelity art direction to life for content production. You’ll bring your keen understanding of real time graphics and strong aesthetics, or pipelines and tools, to build visually stunning 3D content.

Key Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of 3D art principles and 3D mathematics
  • Proficiency in DCC applications like Maya, Max, Motion Builder, Houdini, zBrush, Substance Design & Painter
  • Proficiency in at least one game engine like RealityKit, SceneKit, Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Familiarity with at least one of these shading languages: Metal, HLSL, GLSL.
  • Familiarity with at least one of these languages: Python, Swift, C# or C++
  • A strong understanding and experience with designing and developing pipelines for assets and real time graphics.
  • Experience with writing a mix of stylized and realistic shaders for real time use to translate concept art to runtime graphics.
  • Strong collaboration with artists, leadership, developers and members of other teams to raise the rendering quality and ensure efficient creation and delivery of assets
  • Experience with versioning tools like Git and Perforce.
  • Experience optimizing runtime performance.
  • Good sense of UI and UX design.
  • Experience with modeling, rigging or other subject areas a huge plus.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Digital Art or Interactive Media OR 3-6+ years shown experience as a Technical Artist.

Experience crafting high quality visuals, especially with regards to real-time and AR/VR experiences.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strong character animator that understands how to bring real emotion, weight, anatomy and dialogue to realistic human characters in AR, VR, and contemporary applications. The ideal candidate has a high attention to detail, is a self-starter, and is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative team charged with exploring leading edge interactive technologies. You will be working in a multi-functional team that is developing advanced simulation, entertainment, and visualization applications.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in video game character animation, or equivalent
  • High proficiency in current animation tools, techniques, and pipelines
  • Excellent skills in animating human figures
  • Excellent development skills working with various game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and with technical and non-technical team members
  • Experience in modeling and rigging

Optional Qualifications:

  • Experience in VFX and particle animation
  • Experience shipping games or simulations in 3D
  • Experience working with motion capture files

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our character creation and animation efforts
  • Manage animation pipeline and involve outsource support where desired
  • Meet project deadlines in a timely manner without compromising artistic integrity
  • Consistently communicate with the team, participate in planning meetings, and provide clear goals and outcomes
